Continuing on the topic of construction of wooden frame house, in this article we will describe work performed by us of covering wooden frame by imitation of the building timber.
Task in hand: to sheathe a wooden frame of suburban house by imitation of the building timber.
Progress of work: We reiterate — all works on construction, repair, reconstruction of country houses we execute strictly on contract and pursuant to design documentation, since we bear responsibility on our commitments before Customers and give warranty to performed works during two years. Works were executed in winter-grade period (about advantages of performance of civil works in winter-grade period we told here).
After frame is erected (we described process of the frame erection here), roofing system is mounted and construction is plated with windproof material (In this instance «Izospan AB» was applied), on bearing beams of wooden frame were installed leveling planks which simultaneously were roof boarding and supplied a ventilation backlash between wind shield and covering (by imitation of the building timber). Upon installation was performed covering with finishing material. Since in this instance it was imitation of the building timber, then all material previously was processed by septics at temperature not below -10 degrees. If to process material at more low temperatures, then extremely negative effect will turn out. First, composition will not penetrate deep to the structure of the wood substance. Secondly, water whose wood will be saturated, at strong frost it will turn to ice and will tear wood therefore cracks are formed in it. Therefore septing of material it is necessary to execute strictly on technology recommended by the manufacturer of septic.
Upon completing material drying-out begin works on its installation to ready wooden frame. At installation of imitation of the building timber it is necessary to control backlashes between butt joints, as well as the arrangement of «tenon and mortise» — in docking panels the tenon should be from above, mortise — from below for exception of hit of water to connection:
After frame covering all construction is processed by preservative compound supplying protection of wood from impact of negative factors (water, UV radiation) and simultaneously being decorative cover. And to completion of all works decorative nooks on house angles are installed, aprons to windows are installed. As a result, in our opinion, very nice object turned out:
